Prevlly sp. z o.o."Prevlly is a Lublin-based startup that was created out of need and passion. The company's main goal is to help people affected by bedsores. In response to the growing need, Prevlly has created a product to prevent bedsores. The smart decubitus bandage reacts to and eliminates the factors that create bedsores, protecting patients from pain. The patch uses innovative technology, covered by a patent application, introducing new, beneficial and previously unavailable solutions. Thanks to the understanding of the factors that cause and accelerate the onset of symptoms, special layers have been designed into the patch, each of which has individual functionality and acts on the specific cause of bedsores. The Prevlly patch is a breakthrough in the medical market and a milestone in improving the standard of living for millions of patients dealing with bedsores worldwide. Work on the product was financed, among other things, from our own resources and European Funds.
Research and development work was carried out in cooperation with the Consonance sp. z o.o. Research Institute in Krakow, Grinn sp. z o.o. based in Wroclaw, and Ecotech-Complex Analytical and Software Center for Advanced Environmentally Friendly Technologies in Lublin. The next stage will be in-house testing of the product, followed by entry into clinical trials, product certification and market launch of the patch. Prevlly has implemented a Quality Management System for medical device manufacturers according to ISO 13485:2016 for the design and development, production and distribution of the medical device, which is a smart dressing for the prevention of pressure sores. The company is in the process of finalizing the procedure for protecting its intellectual property (in Poland and Europe) and trademark. The company has attracted an investor, which is a large distributor of medical products."
