PHARMFACTOR sp. z o.o.Pharmfactor sp. z o.o. is a relatively young company, established in 2017, which, due to its team of employees experienced in the industrial use of biotechnology methods, is thriving in the market of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company was incorporated into the Biomedicine Poland S.A. capital group in 2020. The company's main business is the isolation and purification of biologically active ingredients on an industrial scale, mainly protein and peptide preparations for use as active ingredients in drugs. The company also provides contract services in the area of production and packaging of dietary supplements. The product portfolio includes aprotinin, hyaluronidase, the active ingredient for the drug TFX (an immunomodulator, which is one of the 7 original Polish drugs), and collagen from salmon skins. The applicant is also engaged in R&D activities in the development and optimization of technologies for obtaining APIs, as well as for conducting development work on developing finished forms of veterinary preparations based on lactoferrin and lysozyme dimer, pulmonary surfactant, heparinoids, among others. Currently, no plant in Poland is engaged in the isolation of the above-mentioned substances on an industrial scale, and they mostly represent a strategically important added value for the economy of the country and the Community, as they concern substances used as immunomodulators, in ophthalmology, cardiology, autoimmune diseases, or oncology regimens.
