Fundacja Instytut Rozwoju Spraw SpołecznychThe Institute for the Development of Social Affairs (IRSS) is a think-tank that provides a platform for in-depth debate, the development of analysis and the joint formulation of proposals for solutions between diverse communities. Our work is distinguished by an innovative, multidimensional and interdisciplinary approach that brings together policy makers, diplomats, medical experts, industry representatives, community organisations and patients. We believe that this is the only way to develop effective and sustainable solutions.
The IRSS focuses on analysing economic and social phenomena through the lens of health and healthcare issues, which affect every area of life and economic activity. The realities of the modern world require an innovative approach to health care and related system solutions. Thanks to the many years of experience of our experts, we create a modern platform for discussions on public health, social policy, innovation, research and development and demography.
Our innovation also manifests itself through an international perspective. We regularly analyse proposals and mechanisms implemented in Poland, EU countries and the United States. The participation of EU and Euro-Atlantic structures in our conferences and debates allows us to create bridges between the European Union and the USA, which strengthens Poland's soft power potential in bilateral and multilateral relations.
The goal of IRSS activities is to build a holistic and inclusive platform for substantive debate. The results of our activities, such as reports, analyses and compilations of best international practices, provide real support for the administration and the NGO sector in the process of strengthening Poland's interests at the international level.
IRSS's mission is to provide decision-makers with cross-cutting analytical material by engaging a wide range of opinion leaders, sectoral experts, representatives of the social side, the media and public administration - both at the national and international level - in public discourse. Through these activities, IRSS makes an important contribution to the development of effective and innovative solutions, responses to contemporary challenges.
