It operates as a non-governmental, non-profit organization with the core objectives of enhancing the scientific competitiveness of its members and bolstering the economic competitiveness of the North East Region within the domain of medical imaging. The cluster actively contributes to the advancement of precision medicine in the North East region and promotes the digitalization of the healthcare ecosystem. This involvement includes organizing workshops, online events, and hackathons focused on the tools and benefits of digital health. Additionally, IMAGO-MOL facilitates matchmaking events on both national and European levels, connecting health tech startups with healthcare providers. The Imago-Mol cluster brings together under its umbrella promoters of research and development, innovation and education, hospitals, regional development promoters, SMEs in the ICT and health fields and has extensive experience gained through the implementation of research projects in the field of digital health and precision medicine.
