KPCOM Sp. z o.o.Ambientcare.ai is a startup, developed collaboration with the Universities , a ground-breaking project that combines the practice of senior care with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to transform care for seniors, offering innovative solutions far superior to traditional caregiving methods.
It enables continuous, non-invasive monitoring of the health and safety of seniors in their home environment, while minimising the need for the physical presence of carers.
A key element of our offering is the use of AI algorithms to analyse on-device video data using common devices and on-device machine learning to detect potential threats to seniors' health and life, such as falls, abnormal heart rhythms, changes in movement patterns or forgetting to take medication. In this way, the system provides not only ongoing monitoring, but also proactive care.
The 'ambient' telecare system targets families and carers of a group of 3 million seniors in PL, is unmanned and requires no involvement, detects falls, immobility, and other abnormalities, and automatically manages medication intake.
It increases the efficiency of care by 64% compared to traditional methods, providing care for approximately 5% of standard costs.
Projduct in the process of patent registration, price from a few EUR/month, making it economically attractive to a growing group of tens of millions according to demographic trends.
The project has the potential for global deployment due to its scalability and innovation, especially in the context of deinstitutionalisation introduced by EU legislation.
