VR Health Champions is a three-year European innovation project supporting the development and market adoption of Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) technologies in healthcare. The initiative focuses on strengthening the value chains of five flagship SMEs developing XR health solutions and accelerating their transition from prototype to market-ready applications.

The project aims to reduce market, clinical, and regulatory barriers and increase the technological readiness of XR innovations (from TRL6 to TRL9), while fostering collaboration between healthcare providers, researchers, technology developers, and innovation ecosystems across Europe.
